Product Recommendations

Enhance your WooCommerce store with intelligent, AI-powered product suggestions.

Navigate to Intufind → WooCommerce to configure. This tab only appears if WooCommerce is active and your license includes recommendations.

Overview

AI-powered recommendations analyze your product catalog and visitor behavior to suggest relevant products. Unlike traditional "related products" based on categories, Intufind understands semantic relationships between products.

Example: A customer viewing a tent might see recommendations for:

  • Sleeping bags
  • Camping cookware
  • Headlamps

Even if these items aren't in the same category.

Availability

Product Recommendations require:

  1. WooCommerce installed and active
  2. Valid Intufind license with recommendations enabled
  3. Products indexed in Intufind

Check your plan at intufind.com/dashboard to see if recommendations are included.

Recommendation Settings

Enable Recommendations

Default: Off

Toggle AI-powered product recommendations on your store.

Display Location

Choose where recommendations appear:

Number of Products

Default: 4 Range: 2-8

How many products to show in each recommendation block.

Recommendation Title

Default: "You might also like"

The heading displayed above recommendations.

Examples:

  • "Recommended for you"
  • "Complete your look"
  • "Frequently bought together"

How Recommendations Work

  1. Product analysis — AI understands your entire catalog semantically
  2. Context awareness — Current product, cart contents, or browsing history
  3. Relevance scoring — Products ranked by semantic similarity and purchase patterns
  4. Dynamic display — Recommendations update in real-time

Usage Tracking

Recommendations are tracked in your Dashboard Analytics:

  • Impressions — How often recommendations are shown
  • Clicks — How often visitors click recommended products
  • Conversions — Purchases attributed to recommendations

Troubleshooting

Recommendations not showing

  1. Verify WooCommerce is active
  2. Check your license includes recommendations (Intufind → License)
  3. Ensure products are indexed (Intufind → Status)
  4. Clear page caching

Same products always recommended

  1. Trigger a full product sync (Intufind → Status → Products → Sync)
  2. Check product descriptions are unique and descriptive
  3. Ensure you have enough products indexed (minimum ~10 for good variety)

Irrelevant recommendations

  1. Review product descriptions for accuracy
  2. Check category assignments
  3. Re-sync products after making changes
